“No-one relishes the thought of going to the dentist, especially when your tooth has seemingly broken in half! Anxiously I went to see Dra. Dina Martins, who I have known for years, to assess the damage. As expected there was not enough tooth left, it had to come out, and be replaced – horrors! Session 1 was to remove what was left, stitch it up, and revisit the gap some weeks later to measure up for the replacement. Amazingly given the location in the back of my mouth it came out painlessly – much to the amazement of friends and colleagues…and more importantly there was no pain after the procedure…none. I was warned (by friends) that the pain would come after Sessions 2 & 3 when the ……was drilled into my jaw bone to be the anchor for the new Implant, but again no pain, and I mean none. Again I was warned by friends that I wouldn´t be able to drive after the implant, not be able to work, but when I shared my anxiety with Dra. Dina she assured me I would feel no pain. I write this note for those of you who might be anxious about this procedure. For those of you who don´t know Dra. I have recently had some implant work done with Dr Dina Martins in Albufeira. I am very pleased with the results, the treatment and care I received from Dr Martins and her team. The results are amazing and the whole process went smoothly from the very beginning. Everything was explained thoroughly and the response to questions was helpful, quick and efficient. The cost was explained clearly at the beginning and everything was done to the budget originally set out. I would highly recommend Dr Martins and her team to anyone needing implants.
